Selected work from the Musgrave-Kinley Outsider Art Collection - Draíocht, Blanchardstown

Draíocht, Blanchardstown, Co Dublin
This exhibition samples a selection of work from the Musgrave-Kinley Outsider Art Collection which brings together work by artists who are often quite unknown and who work in non-mainstream contexts, creating their work in private and sometimes institutionalised environments while rarely being aware of art historical movements, theories or contemporary art practice. The exhibition includes work by artists such as Madge Gill and Pearl Alcock and coincides with the arrow link Inner Worlds Outside exhibition at IMMA in July.

Madge Gill, Untitled, Ink on calico, 82 x 270 cm, Collection Irish Museum of Modern Art, On loan from the Musgrave Kinley Outsider Art Collection

This exhibition is curated by Eimear Martin, Fellow in Collections: Outsider Art, IMMA.
