IMMA Residency Programme > Public Access
Residency Practice and Projects
IMMA supports all stages of the creative process from research through to production. An important dynamic to the residency is the opportunity to engage with IMMA's visiting public and groups through studio access and workshops. The museum continues to encourage varied layers of response, activation and research made by residents and collaborative projects, which often manifest through IMMA's exhibition and public programmes.
The Process Room
The Process Room revealed the production, exhibition and consideration of contemporary art in a reflective and complementary dialogue to studio practice. This exhibition space was used on a rotating basis by residents interested in developing new work at IMMA. Go to ARP Projects to get information on previous activities.
ARP Studio Visits
By request, groups and individuals visiting IMMA can arrange to visit residency studios, accessibility is often dependent on availability and timing of the request. Enquiries should be made at least two weeks in advance of a preferred date. Email the residency programmer at firstname.lastname@example.org. Note that large groups can incur a number limit depending on the nature of the work in the studio.
There are open studio events organised throughout the year, many of which are free and open to the public.
