Photography/installation Liam O'Callaghan
Studio 14, until September
Irish artist Liam O’Callaghan uses photography, projection, installation and books ranging from fine art to social documentary, in the exploration and construction of his work. Liam’s work deals with questions of what we value and why, notions of success, preciousness, of beauty, quality and importance, while also dealing in an investigation of aesthetics and the aesthetic experience. Through his work, Liam seeks to inspire the viewer and himself both emotionally and intellectually, but also aims to challenge us to re-access our habitual responses.
The Process Room
Liam O' Callaghan's work was shown in the Process Room, first floor, west wing galleries from 9- 22 August 2004.
