What is…? Talk Series : What is Installation Art ?

 This talk series provides a general introduction to key concepts and themes in contemporary art. Niamh Ann Kelly , Lecturer in the School of Art , Design & Printing, Dublin Institute of Technology, presents a paper on the subject of Installation Art. This talk is supported by an information leaflet which includes summary information about the topic, an essay and supplementary resource material including bibliography, resources and a glossary of terms.  

Biographical Information

Niamh Ann Kelly is an art writer and researcher. She lectures in Critical Theory at the School of Art Design and Printing at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland. She also works as a freelance art critic and has completed her PhD ‘History by Proxy - Imaging the Great Irish Famine’ at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis, University of Amsterdam.
