Family Event: IMMA and Theatre Lovett present A is for Andromeda, B is for Barbara

Come along to our family event to celebrate the exhibition Alice Maher, Becoming . IMMA and Theatre Lovett will collaborate on a programme entitled ‘A is for Andromeda, B is for Barbara’ which will take place on Sunday, 27 January at IMMA @ Earlsfort Terrace (adjacent to the National Concert Hall) off St Stephen’s Green . Come and visit the exhibition with Theatre Lovett as your guides – the earlier one at 12.30pm , the later one at 3.00pm.

Please email christine.oneill@imma.ie if you wish to come along mentioning which time (earlier or later) you would like to attend and how many people (adults and children) will be in your party. Booking opens on Friday 18 January . Your name will be added to a list to guarantee you access in case there is large demand on the day.

The event promises to be fun for young and old. As Theatre Lovett put it:

Join world renowned Mythologist and philanderer Kyriakos Philippos as he brings us from Alpha to Omega in: A is for Andromeda, B is for Barbara.  For the first (and probably the last) time in Ireland hear Kyriakos’ little known study of Greek Mythology for the Modern Girl. (And Boy). Also: The theatrical giant Karlos Shield and renowned Zither player Marco Vulcan who will not actually be playing the zither will join Kyriakos in a rare telling of the story ‘Iron Heinrich’.

‘You’ll be home in time for tea, my dear’, said the Wolf through his cracked black teeth.
