Aleana Egan (artist) discusses her artistic response to a selection of works presented in the exhibition Analysing Cubism, and her interest in formal concerns of abstraction, such as line, colour and composition. Speaking from the context of her own practice, Egan looks at ways in which artists in the exhibition personalised methods of Cubism and abstraction in order to convey subjective experiences of their cultural environment.
