Lecture : How We Gonna Behave? Friday 12 March, 5.00pm, Lecture Room, IMMA How We Gonna Behave?Afterthoughts on Philippe Parreno in relation to works by Jorge Pardo Using images, audio and video excerpts from the work of Philippe Parreno throughout the 1990s, Jorn Schafaff presents a lecture that reconsiders a question posed by the artist in 1995: "Could an exhibition be a film without a camera?" Reflecting upon Parreno's displacement of cinematic features into the realm of the exhibition, Schafaff investigates Jorge Pardo's and Parreno's use of media formats and reformulate the behavioural conventions of artist and audience alike, in lecture his titles, How We Gonna Behave?
