Literary Weekend :27+ 29 January 2012 - Launch To mark the closing weekend of the exhibition Rivane Neuenschwander: A Day Like Any Other, in the New Galleries; IMMA invites you to a weekend of literary events including a rendition of Samuel Beckett’s novella First Love, and of Arabian Nights. Distingused figures in the literary and performing arts present a range of responses catering for adults and families. See details of one of three events taking place below. Sunday 29 January 2012, 1.00pm, the Chapel, IMMA Launch + Reading - Family Event Look, No Cows by Siobhan Parkinson To Launch IMMA’s newly commissioned tour for children of outdoor art, Siobhán Parkinson (novelist and editor) will read from her trail Look, No Cows which visits her favourite artworks from IMMA’s Collection in the museum grounds. Families and the general public are welcome, and the new trail is available free of charge. Explorer, a regular Sunday family programme for children aged 4 to 10will also take place from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in the New Galleries, IMMA. |
