Conversations: Bechers and Beyond by Mary Cremin

Mary Cremin, Project Curator, IMMA, presents a gallery talk on the installing of the exhibition Conversations; Photography from the Bank of America Collection. This talk will explore the background to the exhibition and collection of photography, tracing prominent influences on the Bernd and Hilla Becher school of photography and their subsequent impact on the work of contemporary visual artists such as Thomas Struth, Andreas Gursky, Thomas Ruff, Candida Höfer among others featured in this exhibition.
