A Fair Land
Harvest to Plate Talk & Picnic
Thurs 28 July, 6-7.30pm
Deirdre O’Mahony’s A Village Plot has been installed in IMMA since March, with a distinctive decorative potato ridges made using traditional ‘lazy bed’ planting techniques by the Loy Association Ireland. It is now time to harvest the crop, and over a communal picnic on IMMA’s front lawn attendees to the evening event can enjoy the tradition of baking potatoes and a demonstration of the Swiss speciality ‘Raclette’ to further fuel ideas on where land and art meet. Free. Booked Out

A Fair Land 
A Fair Land will be active from Friday 12 August with core activities happening from Thursdays - Sundays until 28 August 2016. There is a daily schedule of activities and special events that will offer visitors opportunities to make, learn and take part in the Village. A full programme will be available later this week.
