In the Time of Shaking: Irish Artists for Amnesty International

In the Time of Shaking is a fundraising exhibition for Art for Amnesty, presented in association with IMMA, comprising works by more than one hundred of Ireland's most important contemporary artists, including Louis le Brocquy, Patrick Scott, Sean Scully, Tony O'Malley, Felim Egan and Alice Maher. Art for Amnesty is an international initative, based in Dublin, that harnesses the goodwill and support of artists of all disciplines from around the world in major fundraising projects for the benefit of Amnesty International. All of the work in the show is for sale, from 21 April, through Art for Amnesty.
The exhibition has been conceived and selected by Professor Cián Benson of University College Dublin, and members of the Artists for Amnesty International 2004 Committee supported by Art for Amnesty.
A limited edition book, with an essay by Cián Benson, a new poem by Derek Mahon and biographies of all the artists, accompanies the exhibition (price €45.00).
