Time out of Mind
IMMA will have a city centre presence for the first time in its new exhibition space at the National Concert Hall (NCH) in Earlsfort Terrace. The building’s history as a medical school has inspired a new exhibition from IMMA’s Collection, Time out of Mind, curated as an open composition that will allow multiple readings and experiences. |

Old Master Prints: The Madden Arnholz Collection
The Madden-Arnholz Collection of Old Master Prints includes works by such masters as Pieter Brueghel, Jacques Callot, Albrecht Dürer, Francisco de Goya, William Hogarth and Rembrandt van Rijn.
The Collection was donated to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in 1989 by Claire Madden in memory of her daughter Étain and son-in-law Dr Friedrich Arnholz and is separate from the IMMA Collection.

Les Levine Mindful Media: Three Works from the 1970s
Regarded as the founder of Media Art, New York based, Irish artist Les Levine has donated to IMMA three series of etching and photographic works made in the 1970s. In the works, he mixes text and image to reinforce his belief that social and political problems are valid concerns for art. |

The Moderns: The 1960s and 1970s explore many of the key artistic movements of the period, including the impact of the ground-breaking ROSC exhibitions in the 1960s and '70s, and of Minimal and Conceptual Art, in the works of Brian O'Doherty, Barry Flanagan and Michael Craig-Martin, will also be examined. |
