Kevin Atherton exhibited at the Serpentine Gallery and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London and was included in major survey exhibitions of British Art most notably Un Certain Art Anglais at the Museum d'Art Modern, Paris in 1979, and the British Art Show at the Ikon Gallery, Birmingham in 1984. Most recently, in 2007, A Reflective Approach went on site in Leeds City Centre. Atherton's involvement with the University of Dundee's research project, Rewind, Artists Video from the Seventies and Eighties, has led him to perform In Two Minds, a video performance that spans thirty years, at Tate Britain in 2006, and at FACT in Liverpool in 2007. Atherton is increasingly engaged in writing and, in addition to various published articles, is currently writing his PhD in the Visual Culture Faculty at NCAD. He is currently the NCAD Grad-Cam Fellow.
